How to stop reprinting menus when prices change
Last updated 14 October 2026
You stop reprinting menus by printing the QR code once and keeping the menu itself online. When a price changes, you edit it in OrOMenu; the same printed code opens the new price.
Why do menus get reprinted?
A printed menu is fixed: every price rise, new dish or sold-out item means a new print run, and old copies stay on tables with wrong prices. Many restaurants and cafés reprint more often than they would like because of this.
How do you stop?
- Print the QR code once. It always opens your latest menu. Put it on tables, the counter, the door and your receipts.
- Change the menu online. Edit a dish or price in the dashboard or on your phone. The public menu updates within about a minute.
- Use the sold-out switch for items that run out, instead of crossing them out on paper.
- Use several menus for breakfast, dinner and drinks, or for a seasonal menu, and show the one you need.
- Share the link, not a file, on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp and Google Maps, so every place always shows the current menu.
What do you print once?
The QR code (PNG or SVG) or the print-ready table card. You can still keep a few paper copies for guests without a phone, but they no longer decide your prices.
What does it cost?
You pay for the views your menu gets, or choose an unlimited plan. See the pricing. Create your free account and build your first menu, or read how a QR menu works for restaurants in Egypt.
