Turn a PDF or photo of your menu into a QR menu
Last updated 14 October 2026
Yes: you can turn a PDF or a photo of your printed menu into an editable QR menu. OrOMenu reads the file with AI, lists the dishes and prices it found, and adds them to your menu only after you review them.
How does the import work?
- Open your business in the dashboard and choose Import menu.
- Upload photos or a PDF of your menu, or paste the link to your menu on another provider's website.
- The AI reads the sections, dishes and prices. This takes a short while.
- You review the result, untick anything wrong, and choose a new menu or an existing one to add it to.
- Nothing is added until you confirm. You can also discard the whole import.
What does it cost?
The number of free imports on every new account is 3. After that an import uses credits from your wallet; the pricing page has the current prices. If an import fails, you are not charged.
Do I have to import it myself?
No. Our team can also import a menu for you; contact us and we will set it up in your account.
What should I check afterwards?
AI can misread a blurry photo or an unusual layout, so always check prices and spelling before you publish. Then add photos, sizes and tags in the builder, choose one of 55 menu templates, and download your QR code.
